About the Role
Main responsibilities will be:
- Right development of electrical hardware designs according with project requirements;
- Creation of electrical schematics, including single pole, cabinets, boxes, and machine lay-outs, bills of materials, assembly drawings and instructions, check lists, testing protocols, and all associated documentation as per VOLPAK’s standard;
- To develop a cost-effective change of machines according to requirements;
- To propose (and develop) design innovative applications and machine solutions;
- To coordinate with the rest of the technical team to develop a multi-disciplinary work when necessary and according to the complexity of the assigned tasks:
- To follow the guidelines and documentation for machine and device design and operation as well the ones coming from direct VOLPAK’s manager or responsible;
- To collaborate with the mechanical and software technical office to achieve the complete project compliance;
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing technical, functional, and quality goals;
- Administrative task linked to the department activity (quotations, purchase requests, etc.).
What you need to be successful
Electrical Engineering Graduate or equivalent experience;- At least 5/6 years of experience in electrical automation design;
- Extensive experience in EPLAN;
- Extensive knowledge in automation using PID systems, PLC’s, servo system applications, etc;
- Good knowledge in pneumatics;
- Extensive knowledge in EC compliance requirements;
- Knowledge of packaging machinery and ELCAD will be considered a plus.
