As a Scrum Master, you will work at the intersection of delivery, agile methodology, and cross-functional collaboration, supporting a multidisciplinary engineering team in a GenAI transformation initiative within the insurance sector.
You will play a key role in ensuring smooth delivery execution, aligning engineering, data, and business teams, and enabling agile best practices in a regulated enterprise environment.
Job location: 90% Remote (Europe-based) / 10% On-site in Cologne, Germany

Compensation:
Portugal: Annual gross salary between €40,000 to €55,000
Spain: Annual gross salary between €50,000 to €65,000
B2B / Contractor option: Between €280 to €380/day

In this role, you will:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies and delivery process (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews)
Remove blockers and support team productivity and delivery flow
Coordinate with program management and neighbouring teams
Ensure alignment between engineering output and business priorities
Track and manage delivery risks and dependencies
Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement
Support planning, estimation, and delivery governance processes
Operate effectively in a regulated, enterprise-scale environment
You will operate in a complex, regulated insurance environment
You will coordinate across engineering, Data Science, platform, and security teams
You will balance delivery timelines with governance and compliance requirements
You will need to drive alignment across multiple stakeholders and teams
6+ years of experience in Agile delivery roles
Strong experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
Experience supporting senior engineering or technical teams
Exposure to enterprise transformation programs is preferred
Proven experience in enterprise Agile delivery environments
Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills
Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams
Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and delivery tracking
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Fluent in German and English
Must be a Portuguese or European citizen, or hold a valid work permit for Portugal
Experience in insurance or financial services
Exposure to AI or GenAI transformation programs
Technical understanding of software delivery processes
Experience with SAFe or other enterprise Agile frameworks
