About the Role:
As a Secondary PE Teacher, you will teach Physical Education across a range of abilities, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that promote a positive attitude towards sport and physical activity. You will plan and deliver lessons using a variety of teaching approaches to support, challenge, and stretch all students. You will assess progress, use data to inform your teaching, and contribute to reporting and monitoring student achievement. In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will play an active role in the wider school community through form tutoring, extra-curricular activities, and attendance at school events. You will also uphold high standards of behaviour, promote wellbeing, and take an active role in safeguarding.
This is a permanent, full-time role, with a start date of 31/08/2026.
Who We Are Looking For:
You are a motivated and enthusiastic teacher with a passion for Physical Education and a commitment to helping students succeed. You have strong organisational skills and a clear understanding of effective teaching, learning, and assessment. You work well as part of a team and are committed to continuous professional development. You have high expectations of all students and the ability to engage and inspire them. Ideally, you can deliver a range of sports or activities and contribute to extra-curricular programmes. Above all, you bring energy, initiative, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with young people.
