Skills and Competencies

5+ years of web software development experience with full understanding of end-to-end development lifecycle

Strong experience in Python or TypeScript with frameworks such as FastAPI or Node.js for scalable application development

Experience designing and working with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB

Proven experience building microservices and event-driven architectures in cloud-native or serverless environments

Strong knowledge of software design patterns, SOLID principles, CQRS, and hexagonal architecture to support scalable solutions

Experience working in agile environments with strong collaboration across engineering teams

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to contribute in cross-functional and innovative teams

Experience working within AWS ecosystem including Lambda, ECS, S3, DynamoDB or similar cloud services

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

This role focuses on designing and delivering scalable cloud-native and AI-driven solutions while collaborating across teams to build innovative full-stack applications

Design and build serverless microservices using Python, TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks to support scalable systems

Collaborate on the integration of AI and GenAI solutions across full-stack architecture to enhance product capabilities

Work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications aligned with business needs

Architect and maintain scalable cloud-native solutions for content delivery platforms with high availability requirements

Lead and contribute to code reviews, technical workshops, and internal documentation to support engineering excellence

About the Team
Our Digital Content & Innovations Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining Moody’s next-generation content delivery platforms.
The team supports multiple engineering functions by delivering scalable, highly available, cloud-native solutions and enabling technology transformation across the organization.
