We are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to support our growth. The new joiner will start his/her career in Miebach collaborate with clients and project teams to enhance supply chain efficiency and contribute to cost savings, understanding and modeling the Clients current operational processes, identifying main pain points, defining and developing solutions, and supporting implementation activities.
This role presents an excellent career opportunity to develop supply chain modelling and design skills in multiple industries in an international environment. This position requires domestic travel depending on project requirements.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their warehouse and logistics management challenges, objectives, and specific needs.
Analysis and Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' current warehouse operations, identifying inefficiencies, areas for improvement, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
Solution Development: Develop and recommend tailored warehouse solutions, strategies, and action plans to address client challenges and achieve desired outcomes.
Implementation Support: Assist clients in implementing recommended solutions, working closely with their teams to ensure successful execution.
Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented solutions and monitor progress.
Continuous Improvement: Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, helping them adapt to changing market dynamics, technology, and warehouse best practices.
Technical Expertise: Stay updated with the latest warehouse engineering and logistics technologies, methodologies, and best practices to provide cutting-edge solutions.
Functional lead of project staff. Oversees and guides a specific team, ensuring their work aligns with project objectives and organizational goals, optimizing performance, coordinating tasks, and fostering collaboration within the team.
Functions and Tasks:
- Analysis: Conduct in-depth data analysis and warehouse assessments, utilizing data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with clients to design customized warehouse solutions, which may include process optimization, technology integration, and workflow redesign.
- Client Presentation: Present solutions and recommendations to clients in a clear, compelling manner, tailored to their specific needs and challenges.
- Definition of presentation content: essential material presented during a session, encompassing information, data, visuals, and central messages crafted to inform, persuade, or captivate the audience, with the goal of conveying ideas, insights, or solutions in a well-structured and compelling manner.
- Change Management: Assist clients in managing organizational change, helping teams adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Documentation: Create detailed project documentation, reports, and action plans for clients and internal teams.
- Quality Check: Validate analysis and documentation created by consultants, analysts and draftspersons.
- Offer Preparation: Create attractive collaboration proposals for clients and calculate the corresponding team effort.
- Training: consultants and analysts: providing expert guidance and instruction to enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals in a specific field, ensuring they acquire the necessary competencies to analyse data, make informed decisions, and contribute effectively to goals.
- Management of internal projects: overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of initiatives within an organization, such as the development of tools or the implementation of in-house training programs, to achieve specific internal objectives and enhance overall efficiency.
- Management of customer meetings: coordinating, guiding, and ensuring smooth interactions with clients to enhance communication, address their needs, and build strong business relationships for a positive and mutually beneficial engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Other Engineering, or related field.
Master’s degree or specialized training in logistics/supply chain or digital transformation is a plus.
Skills/Experience:
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in consulting, logistics, or supply chain management.
Strong knowledge of warehouse and factory management concepts, practices, and emerging trends.
Proficiency in data analysis, network modelling, and warehouse software tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Problem-solving abilities and a track record of implementing effective logistics solutions.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and BI tools (Power BI, Qliksense, etc.)
Definition of project methodology knowledge
Some experience leading small teams
Languages: Spanish and English (professional working proficiency). Other languages are a plus.
