Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Telecommunications & IoT Buyer. The role will part of a growing and talented Procurement Team and will report directly to the Telecommunications Category Lead. This is a critical role that will contribute to enhance the procurement function for Group level categories. The role is based in Madrid.
The role will be expected to impact quickly and develop as the business grows. It is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to develop the sourcing results of existing categories, and drive business impact on new ones.

The Buyer will be responsible for executing the Telecommunications and IT category within the Group Indirect procurement function. He/she will collaborate, support and influence business leaders and stakeholders across the whole P2P process, from purchase requisition and negotiation, to purchase order.
This will include contributing to a Procurement Plan to maximize advantages for the Company, drafting the sourcing strategy for each service under his/her responsibility, leading execution of tenders (from drafting of specifications to award and contract signature), influencing stakeholders to define and standardize their requirements, while ensuring compliance with Procurement processes and policy.
Responsibilities will include:
Primarily, management of the Telecommunications category, including IoT services, and corporate communications (fixed and mobile lines), both Global and Local services. Other categories include IT related products and services within the Indirect Procurement scope.
Execution of the Procurement Plan on categories under his/her responsibility, maximizing savings in the organization
Collaborate, support and influence across the whole P2P process, from purchase requisition and negotiation, to purchase order
Gather specifications of products and services required by business areas
Execute tenders (RFPs), negotiation with internal stakeholders and suppliers, and supplier qualification and selection
Drafting contracts, and negotiating agreements with suppliers in coordination with Legal counsel and internal stakeholders
Ensure process and policy compliance
Lead market and spend analysis
Develop solutions that meet the organization needs and results
Identify and anticipate issues in the execution of the projects, identify and implement solutions, escalate as required
Identify risks and escalate them to Manager
Follow risk mitigation actions & processes defined
Manage issues with suppliers, monitor periodically agreements and supplier performance. Including supplier evaluation in line with the scope of services agreed
Propose and lead improvements in the Procurement department, processes and policies
Report as needed on all areas of responsibility and different internal stakeholders

Candidate profile
Experiences and Qualifications
2 years relevant experience sourcing ideally IoT and Telecommunications products and services, as part of a procurement team in a large organisation. Other interesting categories managed in the same department are: Software, Hardware, IT Infrastructure, cloud and AI, IT Managed Services and Technical Professional Services.
Worked in a large and cross-functional procurement team, ideally within a high growth environment
University Degree, preferably Graduate or Bachelor in Business Administration or Engineering (Preferred)
Advanced level on Microsoft Office365. In particular Excel, PowerPoint and AI/Copilot.
Experience with eProcurement tools (Jaggaer, Ariba, etc), and ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, etc)
