Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in indirect tax in Big4 or Big Law
- Strong writing, analytical, research and organisational skills
- Strong communication, presentation, project management and business development skills
- Preferably, member of BAR in Spain
- Eagerness to broaden expertise across other areas of tax
- Fluent in Spanish and English
The ideal candidates will be engaged, entrepreneurial, action-orientated, and hands-on. They will have experience working in the Spanish market. The ability to quickly establish, develop and enhance internal and client relationships will be key in the collaborative network we work in at A&M.

You will work with several talented individuals within the business in a supportive surrounding that will provide you the opportunity to challenge your tax technical skills in a stimulating environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support our Senior Directors/Managing Directors on VAT advisory projects, including M&A, due diligence and deal structuring (advisory role with focus on M&A)
- Contribute to pan‑European VAT and international supply chain projects
- Prepare practical, commercial VAT analyses using legislation and case law for a shared portfolio of clients
- Assist in advising clients on VAT aspects of transactions and structuring, as well as day-to-day management
- Participate in complex and high-stakes engagements to strengthen clients' VAT positions, including voluntary disclosures, tax audits, and administrative and judicial appeals before tax authorities and courts
- Advice on other indirect taxes, such as Transfer Tax, Stamp Duty, or local taxes, as well as customs and excise duties
- Draft and check work for accuracy before senior review, ensuring developing technical and commercial insight
- Help manage engagements, budgets and billing processes, maintaining day‑to‑day client contact
- Use technology tools and AI to support efficiently
- Ability to work in a dynamic and time sensitive environment.
