We are seeking a very experienced quant profile with proven financial/real estate/Business Intelligence (BI) and quantitative/data skills to join our AM team and be part of the creation and growth of new processes, methods for applying SVA tech tools and quantitative models to originate and deliver AM projects to maximize performance of our existing global business. The AM business has significant potential for growth, with this role to play a crucial role in the success of our growth initiative.
This role will be focused on the development and continuous improvement of quantitative AM services and processes with a heavy component in data processing and visualization. You will work closely with AM real estate professionals and the SVA global innovation team, aligning with our clients' AM strategies by adopting a data-driven approach in all project stages (origination, evaluation, execution, and client delivery) and developing new services.
You will be the point of reference for advanced users of AM services and will work with AM teams on complex services, including customizing technical solutions for specific projects/markets. You will be based in Madrid and will work within the AM team and collaborate with SVA innovation throughout the globe.
This role will heavily involve data, BI, and coding to build solutions, some of which will turn into dashboards and reports to share with our clients. You must possess an entrepreneurial mindset: creative problem-solving, ability to work independently and be a strong team player. Good communication skills are necessary to explain business problems succinctly and in a structured way to our more senior partners.
Scope of Responsibilities:
Support the AM team to execute projects leveraging SVA data and Asset Management models within the SVA innovation framework.
Identify and connect suitable and relevant internal / external real estate databases to enrich the platform, including data ingestion from clients.
Build prototypes/proof of concept solutions to generate bespoke solutions and ideas for our strategic clients.
Pro-active ideation of solutions to improve the platform, including independent, creative problem-solving to address technical challenges.
Educate and drive adoption of data driven processes, including collecting business requirements and acting as a strategic business partner and liaison for the real estate profiles in the AM team.
We are seeking candidates with:
Prior experience in finance, BI consultancy and/or real estate consultancy will be highly relevant.
Strong quantitative background in data analytical skills (5 – 7 years’ experience).
Experience analyzing business and visualizing that into dashboards to test and improve client experience via big data and technology.
SQL, Python (or similar) and Excel are essential.
Pyspark, Databricks would be a plus.
Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, and artificial intelligence technologies, including practical application in enterprise environments would be a plus
Solid project management and execution skills, experience working in autonomous and fast-changing environment.
