Empower HR to make data-driven decisions! Join us as a Data Engineer and play a key role in building and optimizing data pipelines and architectures that enable advanced insights and informed decision-making. Reporting directly to the Head of HR Technology & Transformation, this role ensures that HR data is efficiently processed, stored, and accessible for analysis. By designing and optimizing data systems, the Data Engineer plays a critical role in empowering the HR team and other stakeholders from business to leverage data for strategic and operational improvements.
Design and build data pipelines to automate data flow within HR.
Develop and maintain data architectures for people analytics.
Ensure data integration across HR, finance, and ERP systems.
Collaborate with analysts to optimize data models for reporting.
Implement data security and compliance measures in all architectures.
Support data visualization and reporting tools for people insights.
Troubleshoots and optimizes data processing workflows.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, IT, or related field.
Proven experience in building and managing data pipelines and architectures.
Strong understanding of data architecture, modeling, and integration techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala for data pipeline development.
Expertise in tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, SQL/NoSQL databases, and ETL tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ideally, certifications in Data Engineering or Cloud Platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics).
Proficient in English; German is an advantage. Additional language skills beneficial for collaborating with global teams and systems
