We’re launching Factorial IT, a brand-new IT Management product, and we’re building the founding sales team that will take it from 0 to €5M ARR in the next two years.
Factorial IT will operate like a startup inside Factorial: its own roadmap, its own go-to-market strategy, and a team expected to grow from 0 to 20 people.
We’re looking for Account Executives DACH Market – Founding New Factorial IT Unit to help us shape the future of IT management.
This is not a standard AE role - it’s an opportunity to define how we sell, scale, and build an entirely new product category at one of Europe’s fastest-growing SaaS companies. Your insights will directly influence our GTM strategy, sales narrative, and customer experience.
The Role
As a Founding Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle — from discovery to close — for Factorial IT across the DACH region.
You’ll speak with IT Managers, CIOs, and Operations leaders to understand how they manage their people, devices, and SaaS tools today, and show them how Factorial can unify it all in one platform.
Depending on your experience and interests, you may focus on:
- New Business (New Logos) — acquiring new customers
- Customer Expansion (Existing Clients) — upselling Factorial HR clients
If you enjoy building from the ground up, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and turning your ideas into real go-to-market strategies, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do
- Manage the full sales cycle from qualified lead to close.
- Run discovery sessions, product demos, and solution presentations with IT and Ops decision-makers.
- Build consultative relationships and act as a trusted advisor to prospects.
- Collaborate closely with SDRs and Marketing to refine ICP, messaging, and outreach strategies.
- Provide structured feedback to Product and Marketing, shaping demos, positioning, and future product direction.
- Track and forecast opportunities accurately in HubSpot CRM, ensuring alignment across the founding team.
Your Profile
Must-haves:
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in IT, Cloud, or Operations
- Native or bilingual German, professional English
- Strong consultative selling and discovery skills
- Organized, analytical, and comfortable managing pipeline and forecasts
- Passion for technology and the SaaS space
- Entrepreneurial mindset — excited to build, test, and iterate
Bonus Points:
- Experience selling to IT personas (CIO, IT Manager, VP Engineering)
- Background in ITSM, MDM, or SaaS automation solutions
- Experience with upselling/cross-selling in existing customer bases
