The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales efforts of the hotel of the designated target markets, especially the different Leisure Markets (sports, wellness, gourmet, wine...) growing, driving and coordinating the necessary online and offline channels, driving revenue growth, and establishing strong client relationships. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, collaborating with the sales team, and with other departments to maximize occupancy and revenue.
The Sales Manager will also understand the specific needs of a hotel repositioning, ensuring all actions necessary for the successful launch of each target market and leisure segments.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for delivering upon the targeted business objectives on total revenue, GOP, market share, OSAT, and employee engagement within the sales team.
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
- Conduct compset and market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales collaboratos to meet and exceed individual and team goals.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture.
Negotiate sales contracts following the hotel sales strategies and objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate accounts, and travel partners.
- Conduct regular sales calls and site visits to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with the DOSM and revenue management team to develop pricing strategies and inventory management.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to refine sales tactics.
- Create attractive sales promotions, packages, and offers to enhance market competitiveness.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns effectively.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Establish partnerships with local businesses, tourism boards, and event planners.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and market insights.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and content.
- In conjunction with marketing, creation, and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising.
- Use data-driven insights to inform future sales strategies.
- Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Monitor sales expenses and adjust strategies to maintain budget compliance.
- Conduct post meeting evaluations
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and inventory strategies.
- In conjunction with marketing, support public relations efforts, developing and implementing PR initiatives.
- Monitor booking trends and adjust marketing efforts accordingly.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance.
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve results.
- In conjuring with the revenue team, make sure the hotel rates are updated in major distribution channels, travel agents and tour operators.
- Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
- Training of hotel team to drive revenue.
- Ensure compliance with Wyndham’s brand marketing guidelines.

BACKGROUND
> Bachelor`s degree in business administration specialising in hotel management, sales & marketing
> min 5 years experience successfuly managing 5* individual leisure resort sales (non tour operated) in complex locations
> proficiency in CRM softwares
> EU national, or with a work permit for Spain (no sponsorship possible for this position)
