Description

Fabless semiconductor supplier KD provides innovative high-speed optical networking for harsh environments. Making gigabit communications over fiber optics a reality, KD technology supplies 1 Gb/s POF links for automotive, industrial, and home networks.

Founded in 2010 in Madrid, Spain, KD offers its cost-effective technology as either ASSP or IP (Intellectual Property) to be integrated in SoCs (System-on-Chips).

KD has about 50 employees, we are in full expansion due to the development of innovative products in the sector and the creation of a unique factory in Spain.

As a result, we are looking for a Process Engineer.

Please find below the responsibilities, profile, conditions and other details of the position:

Tasks & Responsibilities

Set up of automatic equipment, with definition of process parameters, tools and workflow.
Define the design of experiments and specifications for the selection of materials and processes during the development of new products.
Create and update procedures, work instructions and provide training for the process technicians.
Prepare reports detailing findings from process development and product assembly.
Propose improvements in processes, quality, and safety.
Analyze failures and propose actions to avoid the reoccurrence.
Train and support technicians in the correct operation of equipment and processes.
Participate in the definition and acceptance of new machines.
Manage the resources needed for various processes, including raw materials and consumables.
Collaborate with production team for processes definition and feasibility of implementation in mass production.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Attention to details, able to communicate effectively and willing to meet schedule target.
Adaptability to changes of priorities and jobs.
Willingness to work with automated equipment in low-volume production environments.
Able to work in cleanroom environment, wearing proper coat, hairnet, shoes, gloves and masks.
Able to communicate and write in English.

Employment Details

Indefinite full-time contract.
24 working days holiday.
