A new role for PowerPlant Control System department is open. If you are looking for new engineering challenges and being part of a team that makes engineering funny and exciting , this is your opportunity.
You may think our job is only limited to Engine Controls integration world. But this is not true. With new architecture concepts, we, as aircraft manufacturers, play now more than ever an important role within the powerplant system integration. Keep this in mind: modularity , flexibility and independency . These are our main pillars for making engineering.
As part of our team, you will be in charge among many other things of:
Proposing new ideas for future control system architectures
Identifying the customer needs and proposing optimal solutions to satisfy them.
Designing new and integrating new or legacy powerplant control systems
Performing validation of new design solutions
Designing specific testing platforms for our products.
Coordinating transversal activities along the team and with engine manufacturers
Analysing qualification and verification documentation to perform a correct system integration
Being part of A/C test campaigns (Labs / Ground) as Design Office support.
Developing yourself professionally with continuous training from our experts.

Required skills
We will highly appreciate the following skills and experience:
Degree of Aeronautical, Industrial, Telecomms or Computer Engineer.
Team working skills and problem-solving mind.
Demonstrable experience in the design and development of control systems for complex applications, preferably in the aerospace or defense areas.
Demonstrable experience in system testing campaigns
Solid knowledge of SW development, control theory, PLC programming logic, microcontrollers, and communication buses (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, CAN, AFDX).
Experience on System maintenance (BITE concepts) and dataloading capabilities (ARINC 615A, 665, others).
Experience with modeling and simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink).
Familiarity with aerospace safety and certification standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, CS25, CS23,...).
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English. Others will be much appreciated as well.
