As part of a high-level engineering team, you will leverage your software engineering expertise. Your main responsibilities will include:

Designing and developing solutions in the energy sector based on applied mathematical methods

Providing technical support to development teams

Providing input to project managers on schedules and cost estimates

Maintaining tools in operational conditions and provide third level customer support.
Our computation modules are developed in Java, Python, and C++.
You hold an engineering school degree, a master or a Ph.D in software engineering, power systems or applied mathematics, you have at least 5 years of professional experience, you are the ideal candidate if:

You are skilled in Java

You are skilled in Python and/or C++

You have knowledge of IT architecture (Kubernetes, Docker...) and DevOps (gitlab, CI/CD)

You have good knowledge of algorithm design

You are rigorous, have a strong team spirit and are focused on the customer’s needs

You have at least a B2 level in English

You have at least a B2 level in Spanish
Any knowledge, experience and interest in the energy sector, particularly power systems, will be valued.

The entire process typically takes 3-4 weeks
Our selection process is structured in two stages:
Step 1 – The first round consisted of two individual interviews (1h15)
30-minute meeting with the Director of Artelys España
45-minute technical interview
Step 2 – The second round consisted of three individual interviews (1h30)
15-minute discussion with the CEO of Artelys
30-minute meeting with the President of Artelys España
45-minute technical test
