Job Description
Farner Digital Barcelona is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Webmaster to oversee the maintenance, performance, and security of our company websites. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all web platforms operate efficiently, remain up to date, and provide an excellent user experience. You will collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing teams to support digital initiatives and optimize website functionality.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain company websites to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Monitor website functionality, security, and uptime.
- Update website content, images, and multimedia using content management systems (CMS).
- Perform regular website backups, software updates, and security patches.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website errors, broken links, and technical issues.
- Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and search engine performance (SEO).
- Coordinate with developers and designers to implement new features and improvements.
- Analyze website traffic and performance using web analytics tools.
- Maintain domain, hosting, and SSL certificate configurations.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Webmaster, Web Administrator, or similar role.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Experience with content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
- Knowledge of website hosting, DNS management, and SSL certificates.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Basic understanding of web security and performance optimization.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple website projects and work effectively in a team.
