Job Description
The Logistics & Quality Specialist is responsible for end‑to‑end coordination between manufacturing facilities, transportation logistics, and third‑party quality and logistics service providers.
The role ensures that production schedules, quality requirements, and delivery timelines are aligned and executed efficiently, reliably, and in compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manufacturing & Production Management

Coordinate production planning with manufacturing partners to meet project schedules.

Monitor manufacturing progress, capacity constraints, and critical milestones.

Act as the primary interface with factories for:

Production readiness
-
Change management
-
Issue resolution (delays, defects, capacity shortages)

Ensure manufacturing output complies with technical specifications and contractual requirements
2. Transportation & Logistics Management
-
Plan and manage inbound and outbound transportation from manufacturing sites to project locations.

Coordinate local and international logistics (road, sea, rail as applicable).
-
Oversee delivery schedules, Incoterms compliance, customs clearance (if applicable), and site delivery constraints.

Manage transportation risks such as delays, damages, and route constraints.
3. Third‑Party Quality Management
-
Manage third‑party inspection, testing, and certification providers.
-
Coordinate quality control activities including:

Factory acceptance inspections
-
Pre‑shipment inspections
-
Non‑conformance tracking and closure
-
Ensure quality documentation, inspection reports, and certificates are issued on time and in line with project requirements.
4. Third‑Party Transportation Providers Management
-
Select, coordinate, and monitor third‑party logistics and transport service providers.

Ensure compliance with safety, insurance, contractual, and service level requirements.

Track logistics KPIs (on‑time delivery, damage rate, response time).
-
Handle escalation and corrective actions with transport providers.
5. Cross‑Functional Coordination & Reporting

Act as the central coordination point between:

Manufacturing

Logistics
-
Quality
-
Project / site teams
-
Provide regular status reporting on production, quality, and transportation.

Identify risks and propose mitigation measures related to supply chain execution.

Support claims, back‑charges, or corrective actions related to manufacturing or logistics failures.
Requirements
-
Strong experience in industrial manufacturing, logistics, or EPC supply chains
-
Proven ability to manage multiple third‑party service providers
-
Solid understanding of quality control processes
-
Experience with transportation coordination and Incoterms
-
Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
-
Ability to work under schedule pressure and manage competing priorities
