Your role
At OneDigital, we drive Symrise’s digital transformation with the ambition to become the most digitally empowered company on the planet. Within our Data, Analytics & AI organization, we transform data into decisions and ideas into impact through modern technologies, trusted insights, and responsible AI solutions.
As Senior Manager – Master Data Management, you will play a key role in ensuring Symrise’s master data is well-governed, reliable, and aligned with enterprise-wide data and AI governance standards. You will lead initiatives that improve master data quality, support efficient consolidation and access processes, and drive adoption across business domains. This role combines strategic leadership, governance expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to strengthen the foundation for data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Lead and drive enterprise-wide Master Data Management initiatives across business domains
- Define and implement governance standards, processes, and best practices for master data
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across systems and platforms
- Support efficient data consolidation and access control processes
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to align MDM initiatives with organizational priorities
- Drive adoption of master data standards and governance frameworks across teams
- Monitor and improve MDM processes and governance maturity
- Identify opportunities to leverage automation and AI capabilities to enhance master data processes
- Act as a trusted advisor on master data strategy and governance topics
About you
You are passionate about creating strong data foundations and enabling organizations to unlock value through trusted, well-governed information. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy driving change across complex organizations.
You also bring:
- Experience in Master Data Management, data governance, or related data disciplines
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data quality principles
- Experience leading cross-functional programs or enterprise initiatives
- Knowledge of master data processes, controls, and lifecycle management
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working across business and technology teams
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
- Passion for data-driven transformation and continuous improvement
- Fluent English skills; additional languages are a plus
