English Teacher – Torre-Pacheco (Murcia, Spain)
At Idioma Connect, we are looking for an English teacher (preferably self-employed/freelance) to deliver in-person classes to students of all ages in Torre-Pacheco, Murcia.
The position will initially involve 3–5 teaching hours per week, with a real possibility of increasing the hours in the medium to long term.
Main Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in:
- Language-related fields (Philology, Translation and Interpreting, Linguistics, Journalism, etc.), or
- Education and teaching-related fields (Primary Education, Pedagogy, Educational Sciences, etc.).
- Native-level English proficiency is required; native speakers are welcome to apply. Non-native speakers should hold a minimum C1 CEFR of English language.
- A minimum of one academic year of proven language teaching experience (employed or self-employed).
- Valid driving licence and own vehicle, as commute to the school is required.
- Good command of digital teaching tools, including: Zoom, Cloud-based applications, Microsoft Office Suite, Digital learning platforms and tools (e.g. Genially, Kahoot, etc.)
- Availability to teach in the afternoons/evenings.
