We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of electricity markets and energy economics to support commercial decision-making and market intelligence activities. This role will play a key part in evaluating market developments, identifying opportunities, and providing analytical insights that contribute to the company's growth strategy within the renewable energy sector.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will transform complex market information into actionable recommendations and support the optimization of commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and assess developments across power markets, regulatory frameworks and energy price trends.
Deliver quantitative analyses and market insights to support strategic and commercial decisions.
Develop and maintain market models, forecasts and scenario analyses for electricity prices and related variables.
Evaluate business opportunities and provide analytical support for investment and origination activities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities and value creation initiatives.
Prepare presentations, reports and recommendations for management and commercial teams.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of analytical methodologies, tools and processes.
Track competitors, industry dynamics and emerging trends affecting the energy transition.

Degree in Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Physics or another quantitative discipline.
Several years of experience in energy markets, market analysis or commercial analytics within the power sector.
Strong understanding of electricity markets and the factors influencing price formation.
Experience with forecasting methodologies and data-driven analysis.
Advanced analytical skills and ability to interpret complex datasets.
High proficiency in Excel and familiarity with programming languages or analytical tools such as Python, SQL, Power BI or similar.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly to different audiences.
Fluent English, both written and spoken.
