We are seeking an experienced, commercially driven Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market strategy for Neelam Aqua's Specialty Chemicals portfolio in Europe and export markets.
Based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, you will be the primary commercial and marketing authority for two core segments:
▸ Fertilizer Additives — anti-caking agents, dust suppressants, granulating aids, coloring agents, urea additives, and prilling/granulation conditioners
▸ Mining & Industrial Chemicals — froth flotation reagents, flocculants, defoamers, drilling mud additives, corrosion inhibitors, and effluent treatment solutions This is a senior individual contributor role with significant influence over product strategy and revenue.
You will collaborate directly with Neelam Aqua's R&D leadership in India, global sales teams, and local distribution partners to grow European market share and build the brand's technical reputation in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Market Development
▸ Develop and execute the European and export marketing plan for fertilizer additives and mining chemicals, aligned with global revenue targets.
▸ Define market segmentation, product positioning, and pricing architecture in coordination with Global Product Management (HQ, India).
▸ Conduct market intelligence: competitive benchmarking, demand forecasting, customer needs analysis, and whitespace opportunity identification.
▸ Identify and onboard new distributors, agents, and direct accounts across Iberia, North Africa, and North America. Product Marketing & Technical Commercialisation
▸ Translate Neelam Aqua's R&D innovations and product data into compelling, market-ready value propositions and technical literature.
▸ Own the product launch process in European markets — from regulatory readiness through distributor training and end-user adoption.
▸ Develop application notes, technical datasheets, ROI models, and case studies for anti-caking agents (urea, DAP, CAN, NPK) and mining reagents.
▸ Manage the European product portfolio lifecycle: extensions, reformulations, regulatory updates, and rationalisation.
Sales Enablement & Customer Engagement
▸ Partner with Key Account Managers to develop account-specific marketing strategies for fertilizer producers, blenders, and mining companies.
▸ Plan and execute demand-generation campaigns: LinkedIn B2B advertising, targeted email outreach, technical webinars, and digital content.
▸ Represent Neelam Aqua at key industry events, including IFA (International Fertilizer Association), Fertilizers Europe, PDAC, and Argus Fertilizer conferences.
▸ Build and maintain relationships with agronomic decision-makers, procurement managers, and technical directors at target accounts.
Regulatory & Compliance
▸ Ensure all marketing materials comply with EU REACH, CLP/GHS, and the EU Fertilising Products Regulation (FPR 2019/1009).
▸ Coordinate with Neelam Aqua's regulatory team (India) and European external consultants for product registrations, SDS updates, and market authorisations. Performance & Reporting ▸ Own the European marketing budget with full accountability for campaign ROI and spend efficiency.
▸ Track and report monthly KPIs: pipeline contribution, lead conversion, market share estimates, NPS, and brand awareness metrics.
▸ Maintain CRM discipline (Salesforce or equivalent) to ensure marketing activity is properly attributed, and sales pipeline is enriched.
Essential Requirements
▸ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, or a related technical field.
▸ Minimum 3 years of B2B marketing, product management, or commercial development in specialty chemicals, agrochemicals, fertilizers, or mining reagents.
▸ Proven track record of growing an industrial chemical product line in European or international export markets.
▸ Full professional fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken); Portuguese or French is a meaningful advantage.
▸ Deep understanding of fertilizer value chains: from NPK producers to bulk blenders, cooperatives, and field distributors.
▸ Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time across Europe, North Africa, and Latin America. Highly Desirable
▸ Hands-on experience marketing anti-caking agents (amine-based coatings, mineral oil, clay/silicabased systems) or fertilizer conditioners.
▸ Knowledge of mining process chemicals: froth flotation collectors, flocculants, defoamers, dust control agents, or ETP solutions.
▸ Familiarity with EU FPR 2019/1009, REACH/CLP, and GHS labelling requirements for industrial chemicals.
▸ Experience attending or speaking at IFA, Fertilizers Europe, Argus Fertilizer, or similar global industry forums.
▸ Active network within Iberian or European fertilizer manufacturers, mining houses, or agrochemical distributors.
▸ Experience managing international distribution or agent networks with marketing co-investment agreements.
