MISSION:
The Audit Professional Practices Associate is a member of the Professional Practices Expertise Center for Europe, Middle and Africa working in dual office mode with a Team in Paris and is part of Inspection Generale.
The Audit Professional Practices Expertise Center main objective is to support the Inspection Générale (IG) Management Teams (heads of Domains & Heads of Hubs) in the planification, steering and reporting of the audit work. By contributing to the different key processes of IG – excl. conduct of assignment – the Audit Professional Practices Associate helps Inspection Générale to abide by the IIA standards and other requirements (set by the ECB notably), and to provide adequate management information to the General Management and Board of BNP Paribas. Inspection Générale has been certified by IFACI in 2025.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Expertise Center is operated in a dual office mode. Team members act as well as a privileged point of contact towards Heads of Hubs and Domains.
- Audit Planning processes:
- Collection and preparation of data sourced from Global systems (RCSA, Historical Incidents, FTEs, etc.) to initiate the cartography (audit units mapping within the bank) update and the risk assessment processes (risk evaluation given to each Audit Unit mapped within the bank).
- Weekly follow-up and reporting of process progress (for Risk Assessment in particular), i.e.: reporting of the overall Risks within the banks´ Audit Units & the variations/evolutions vs. previous years exercise.
- Identification of opportunities for transversal assignments for the Audit Plan, i.e.: monitoring of human audit resources allocation during the Audit Plan preparation stage.
- Preparation and analysis of other internal audit related data, facilitating the optimal engineering of the Audit Plan.
- PowerPoint decks preparation which will be used for governance bodies meetings – internal & external to the bank (intermediary synthesis and final validation)
- Audit trail input in the systems where appropriate. Documentation and support to the development process of the governance framework, which will also be subject to review by the Quality Assurance teams.
- Audit Committees deck preparation:
- Integration of Power BI charts and tables in the deck Presentation.
- Analysis of underlying data (audit plan progress KPI, assignments ratings, findings/inconsistencies spotted during the audit, and final recommendations issued by the auditors to the auditee) to propose a first set of comment synthesis.
- Assessment of alignment between internal Professional Practices (PP) guidelines and the reporting process, identifying inconsistencies to ensure operational compliance.
- Proposal of the draft PowerPoint deck presentation to be finalized by the speaker of the audit committee (who will fine-tune the comments to Final Version).
- Design and develop Power BI data reports for audit stakeholders - including auditors, Hub & Domain leaders, and internal analysts - to monitor reporting progress, track key metrics, and promptly identify anomalies for proactive risk management.
- Recommendations follow-up: pre-production of the outstanding recommendations follow-up reports and committee PowerPoint decks
- Annual Audit Activity Report (ARIG):
- Collection & extraction of information from the Bank tools (assignments ratings, findings, recommendations, IG opinion, Risk Assessment (RA), etc.)
- Perform in-depth analysis of the tool extracted data while proactively monitoring data quality issues and anomalies, ensuring timely reporting of gaps to relevant stakeholders.
- Pre-production and proposal of an initial version (v0) of the ARIG report deck incl. comment synthesis.
- SLAs contracts (Service Level Agreements) and Invoicing:
- Design and deployment of the contractual framework, providing support for implementation
- Monitoring the Inventory of SLAs and related documents, and oversees the Billing process for audit
- Coordination and maintenance of SLA data in the tools,

Training:
- Degree in Economics, Finance and Accounting
- or Engineering school
- or Master in Business Management
Experience:
Financial and / or Risk Analysis and Advisory and/or Business Management ([3 - 4] years)
