Established in Barcelona in 2006, ServiZurich operates as an integral part of Zurich Insurance Group, providing cutting-edge technological solutions and support to Zurich's local and global business units.
In addition to our technological solutions, we excel in investment, administration, and accounting, ensuring comprehensive support for Zurich's diverse operations.
What can you expect?
And you might be thinking: This is great, what will my day-to-day be like, at Zurich? I’m glad you asked – I asked myself the same question at the time.
As a Group Audit Intern, you will have the opportunity to:
- Audit planning activities including refinement and reinforcement of the audit planning process, supporting Audit Leaders with the semi-annual planning cycle, and preparation of the annual Group Audit Plan Report and Addendum
- Analysis and communication of operational management information, to support timely delivery with quality
- Reporting (in summary form) to Senior Management, Board AC and regulators, including the lead regulator, FINMA
- Work location is Barcelona
What Makes You a Great Fit?
While we’re not seeking perfection or expecting you to save the world, we believe that if you meet some of these requirements, you’ll be a fantastic fit for our team. We are waiting for you!
- Active student status with a Spanish University/School is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s student in Economics, Accounting (completed minimum 3 semesters); ideally at the Master’s stage
- Methodical, rigorous attention to detail and able to identify issues and solve problems
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Advanced skills in Excel (especially), Word and SharePoint is an advantage
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Able establish a collaboration agreement with the University and/or Business School for a minimum of 6 months, with the possibility of extension
- Availability to dedicate around 25h per week to this internship
- Efficient level of Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Ppt)
- Interested in the Insurtech world.
- Enthusiastic, capable, and eager to learn.
- A good team player with a responsible, can-do attitude.
